One key ingredient we provide in Te Kakano is the opportunity for all our tamariki to Learn through Play. Play is a vital part of individual growth. 

Children learn best through exploring and experimenting. They have an intrinsic motivation to learn about the world around them. If you look closely enough and with playful eyes you will see the 

self-directed learning unfold.

We recognise that a seed has potential to grow. Our team (Te Kakano) provides the foundation for each seed. We believe we are here to nurture each individual seed. We foster and develop the whole child. We provide a sense of belonging for our tamariki. When a seed is nurtured and protected and given the right foundation it will begin to grow.
